Seasonal Enhancements

Fresh beds, clean shrubs, and color for the season

Fresh mulch or pine straw, seasonal color, shrub pruning, and cleanups that bring the whole property back into focus.

What’s included

What we take care of.

Some of the biggest visual improvements come from work done once or twice a year. Fresh pine straw or mulch, properly pruned shrubs, and a few beds of seasonal color can make a property look renewed in a single visit.

These services work on their own or alongside recurring maintenance. They’re especially useful before spring, before the holidays, before hosting, or before listing a home.

Mulch and pine straw
Fresh, even coverage that suppresses weeds, holds moisture, and gives beds a finished look.
Seasonal color
Annual plantings rotated for the season to add color at entries and focal beds.
Shrub pruning
Shaping and thinning at the right time of year so shrubs stay healthy and in proportion with the house.
Seasonal cleanups
Leaf removal, bed cleanup, and cutting back perennials to reset the property between seasons.
Property refreshes
A coordinated, top-to-bottom tidy-up when the yard needs to look its best quickly.
Shade garden with a river-rock dry creek bed, ferns, hostas, caladiums, and a small water feature

Questions

Seasonal Enhancements questions.

Should I choose mulch or pine straw?

Both work well here. Pine straw is common in Georgia, knits together on slopes, and has a natural look; hardwood mulch gives a darker, more tailored appearance. We’ll talk through what suits your beds.

How often should beds be refreshed?

Most beds look best with a fresh layer once or twice a year, depending on the material and how quickly it breaks down.

When should shrubs be pruned?

It depends on the plant. Spring-flowering shrubs like azaleas are best pruned right after they bloom, while many evergreens can be shaped in late winter. We prune each plant at the right time.
